One drawing, any medium
Germinating since 2003, in A Proposal to Inhabit Applied in 14 works, 2003–2026 Today: Space Designer, Construction Documents Engine, Operations Platform, Family Hub
The same piece in sculpture, print, bronze or façade: material and scale change, the work stays identical. The drawing carries the work; each medium is one application of it.

The research question
When the material and the scale change, what must the drawing hold for the work to stay the same?
A drawing without scale
“I began to draw Rialengo without a specific scale, always knowing that once the scale was defined and the material chosen, the number of figures needed to build it would be determined.”
I Two formats · 2015
Rialengo No.3 was shown twice: as a sculpture, in All Inclusive, Berlin, 2015, and as its drawing printed in fifteen sections, at Art Vilnius '16. The fifteen sections now move on the home page of this site, and the sculpture, mirrored, is the YLW logo: as one side grows, the other disappears.
II Another scale · 2020
“To reach with 10 mm layers the detail of a sculpture of 1.2 mm layers, it has to grow: not ten times, but close.”
Rialengo No.4 takes the same method from 1.2 mm oak to 10 mm MDF. The layer is about 8.3 times thicker, and the piece grew in proportion, to two halves of 2.4 m.
III The same studies · 2014–2018
“FAR uses the same studies, but on a format of 122 × 180.”
Beloved Veils is twenty-four studies of one person, drawn from memory. Two of them became Part in Style, 360 × 240 cm on wood, for the Cultural Center of Spain in Santo Domingo; FAR takes the same studies to 122 × 180 cm.
